Monday Musing: Sacred Cows
This week Christie is thinking about sacred cows. During a clean out exercise of her office closet she found notes from the very first The Why and the Buy podcast episodes way back in 2017. In our second ever podcast, we talked about sacred cows, inspired by reading Tim Ferris' book The 4-Hour Workweek. Sacred cows are long held beliefs that are no longer relevant and no longer helpful given current conditions. Nearly three years later, those discussions are more relevant than ever as long held beliefs about our nation, policing and racial justice slam into the cold hard realities of the present.
