Monday Musing: Talking to Strangers

After a short hiatus, Christie is back for another Motivation Monday. This week, Christie is thinking about assumptions and how many times we can get things wrong in a sales process. You take a cue from a customer, assign meaning to it and assume that means that they are ready for the next step. You are certain the sale is made.

Christie dives into Malcolm Gladwell's new book, Talking to Strangers, for insight aabout how and why human beings get things BIG wrong. Why do we develop certain assumptions, how do those assumptions stand between us and a sale and what the heck can we do about it?

We have a new website. Listen to past episodes and get more from Jeff and Christie!
